Good protection, slow shipping

I ordered the R-Pro Chest Protector and it feels really solid. The fit was good, and it seems well-made. Shipping took about 9 days to get to California, which felt a bit long. Customer service was quick to respond when I asked about the tracking though, so that was a plus. Overall, happy with the product.

Excellent product and support

I recently purchased the ASA Airbag Chest Protector for motocross. The ordering process was straightforward on their website, and I received an order confirmation almost instantly. It shipped out in two days and arrived in Colorado five days later, which was pretty good. I had a question about maintaining the air bladders, so I used their online chat. The support agent was very helpful and knowledgeable, explaining everything clearly. The protector itself is high quality, feels durable, and the inflation pump worked perfectly. It's comfortable under my jersey too. I appreciate the detailed instructions they include for inflation and care; it really helped ensure I set it up right.

Reliable gear as always

This was my third order from RXR Protect, this time I got a new Inflatable Back Protector. Just like my previous chest protector, the quality is consistent and top-notch. I've always found their gear to be super reliable on the trails, and this new back protector is no different. It arrived in about a week, which is what I usually expect from them. They really stand by their products.

Quick question on sizing for the R-Pro chest protector. I'm usually a large in shirts, should I just go with a large for this too or do they run small/big?

S Sam Clark 1 month ago
I found their sizing chart on the product page to be pretty accurate. I'd measure yourself and check that first.

Mine fit true to size. I'm a medium and the medium chest protector fit snug but not restrictive. Don't size up unless you're between sizes, then maybe. It's meant to be tight.

Hey guys, planning to order a chest protector for MTB. How long does shipping usually take to California? I have a race in like 2 weeks.

W William Robinson 3 weeks ago
Mine took about a week to get to LA, I think. Ordered it a few months ago. Should be fine if you order quick.

Yeah, I'm in NorCal and it was pretty fast, like 5-7 days. They ship from France, so it's not Amazon speed but quicker than I expected.

Does anyone know if you can stack promo codes? Got a Black Friday one and an athlete code, really hoping to use both.

P Patricia Brown 4 weeks ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one code per order. Tried it before and it didn't work for me.

Yeah, I think their system usually only takes one. It's in their FAQ somewhere too, something about not stacking codes.

Thinking of getting the ASA protector. Is it legit or just another goggle brand trying to do armor? Wondering about quality and protection.

B Brian Anderson 2 weeks ago
Oh no, they're super legit. Been around for ages in motocross. Their air tech is proper, not just some foam. Definitely CE certified if that's what you're worried about.

They're the real deal. I crashed pretty hard in mine last season and it saved my ribs. Way better than regular foam for absorbing big hits, it's a noticeable difference.

Anyone tried comparing RXR to like, a Leatt or Alpinestars protector? I'm torn between them for motocross, looking for the best protection.

C Carol Davis 1 month ago
RXR's air tech is unique compared to Leatt or Alpinestars, which are mostly hard shell and foam. The air bladder system really disperses impact force differently. I feel much safer in my RXR.

I had a Leatt before and switched to RXR. The RXR feels a lot less bulky for the same level of protection, and the way it inflates makes it super comfy. For motocross, I think the air system is superior for big impacts.
